May Day

Ann T. took a Zoom class taught by Lyric Kinard recently. PTQG offered this class in conjunction with our members' meeting in April. Ann bought Lyric's "scissors remake" and said she would put it on the back of a vest. We look forward to seeing that vest soon. Ann also told us that Janet C., who moved away but is still a Tacoma member, took the same Zoom class. Nice to visit friends in a virtual classroom.

Leanne T. used this dramatic panel to make a quilt for Quilts of Valor.

When Diane J. was sick with a cold she made this Greek alphabet quilt for her daughter. Diane used scrap remnants for this intriguing quilt.

Meliss received a whole quilt room of supplies when she was remembered in a will. Meliss made this pretty quilt with Asian fabrics. The pattern is from "Elisa's Backporch" and uses acrylic templates for the curves.

Meliss also made this quilt top that she started at a retreat. Meliss donated this pretty top for charity.

Betty showed us this pretty small quilt. A repeat pic of this quilt, Betty said , but now it is quilted and bound. Betty knows we don't mind seeing a quilt twice. From Carol Hopkins book "Civil War Legacy".

Sharon R. made her lovely little spring quilt. Pattern is "Welcome Spring" by Kim Halvorson. There is always room for a small quilt like this somewhere in the house or on a table.
