Tacoma Lakes Quilters 4.17.19

It was a wonderful day of relaxation. We had very little business and the ladies brought what they wanted to work on ....some had machines...some handwork....some just sitting with one another and sharing ideas etc.
You know sometimes we have dress down days...well this was a sew down day that was just wonderful. No stress!!
Of course we always have SHOW 'N TELL
We have busy ladies that do beautiful work.
One lady said she brought her March bag to do her trunk show. Delightful!!

Tacoma Lakes Quilters Business 4.3.19

Today was a challenge again with the weather, what we call poor man's fertilizer, a soft sprinkling of snow that covers everything. It is beautiful but also a challenge for some gals who come from a distance, so it was decided to push the meeting ahead an hour as it was just a few hours that it lasted. Arriving we grab a cup of coffee and always a great selection of goodies.

We had business as usual ....Show 'n Tell...and Demo's. The 150 bibs we made were delivered to 3 designated places. Also as promised last month a display of the bags made last month chaired by Helen.

We have a lot of talent and each month we have 2-3 demos's at the end of our business meetings. We appreciate each one that takes the time to share their expertise. We can always learn whether new or experienced. There are always little tips that others use to refine our skills.
