Thanking Our Sponsors

This post is overdue, but we did send letters of thanks to the folks and businesses who sponsored our quilt show in October. Their generosity helped make our show a success, so we wanted to give them a shout out here as well. And thank you for patronizing our local businesses.

Tacoma - November 2, 2016

Tacoma Lakes Quilting group met today for their business meeting. We held our quilt show last week and talked about areas to improve. Also held our drawing for the fat quarter club. We had three happy winners of the mini raffle drawing.

We have been making charity quilts for Portland Mid Maine Medical babies NICU unit. We have donated 36 so far. They go on top of the incubator while they are there and used to keep them warm when placed on the moms and dads. They then go home with them to cherish forever and possibly pass on to other generations.

The following is this week's Show 'n Tell.
l SueB - baby quilt for boy

Koleen - Lego quilt, lap size, from Rayna's stash
