It is wonderful to have all the snow/cold weather behind us and a good group joined together with the usual things we do...our mini-drawing, Food for thought which benefits Backpack Program and Food bank....fat quarter club exchange.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The Maine Quilt Show July 27-29 at the Augusta Civic Center. Many of us STILL working on our chapter challenge of 24" red and white quilts that will be displayed.
UPCOMING EVENT: A workshop on the 17th to make a 'Hunter Star" with Cora Swalec. A road trip on May 18 to the Quilting Museum in Lowell, MA with other stops. October 3,4,5 a group of us are headed to Mountain View Resort, Jackman for a retreat.
In place of our auction as a fundraiser we are having a QUILTERS' CRAFT FAIR SEPTEMBER 23.. .MARK YOUR CALENDARS. Our member's will have their own table and will have lots of fun things to purchase.
