Tacoma Workshop - May 21

We had a brief meeting ahead of the workshop last week, consisting of the Mini Raffle and Show and Tell. Betty brought two more quilts for this year's charity project.

Sally brought a bag with lots of pockets stitched into it, using a  pattern by Ursula & Emily.
Ann also brought a cute quilt to donate.
Bea showed her quilt for this year's challenge. Can you guess which song her quilt depicts? Answer at the end of the post.
Sandi brought her fall-themed hexagon table mat. Love the stem stitching in the middle.
Sue taught the workshop to make Mark Lipinski's Curvy quilt, a quilt with a single pattern piece. Participants were asked to bring a prepared set of strips, and Sue showed us how to cut the pieces out of the strips and construct a block.
Blocks were then sewn into rows to complete a quilt top.
Answer for the song depicted in Bea's quilt: "On the Wings of a Snow White Dove"
