Wednesday's meeting was a busy one, and much was accomplished. First up on the agenda was a brief discussion about our challenge quilts and the submission guidelines for MaineQuilts. Next, names were drawn for Fat Quarter Club, a winner was drawn for the Mini Raffle, and the Birthday Club gals showed their gifts. The Nominating Committee also made a presentation for the upcoming elections in June.
We got a sneek peek at the raffle quilt for our upcoming quilt show on October 25 and 26. The raffle quilt, called "New Friends", was designed by Koleen, and made by Sherry. Sherry has generously agreed to donate her quilt to be our raffle quilt.
We discussed the purchase of aprons to be used for events such as our quilt show or auction. The aprons will be available for $4.99 and will have an embroidered logo.
We also voted to have our Summer Picnic at Koleen's this year.
