A nip in the air in Maine did not stop the ladies from attending our November business meeting for Tacoma Lakes in Litchfield. The meeting starts at 9:30 am officially, but many are there by 9 to enjoy one another and sample the wonderful tidbits and coffee & cider today. We purchase our raffle ticket which is always a highlight and very popular. This month two drawings, the first was 3 groups of 30's fabrics and the second a bag full of of multiple goodies. We also have our fat quarter club....four names are drawn once a month and she receives approximately 40 of her color of choice. Fun! Fun! Fun! Then we go into our business meeting with lots of discussion and decisions. Our Bring 'n Brag always showcases the talented work of our quilters.
Sue B made this beautiful string quilt for charity.
Donna W shared this special 'Christmas quilt' from Hobby Lane.
It has a lot of special detail.
