Workshop Jan.18.12

9:00 o'clock Wednesday morning about 20 women arrived for an all day workshop armed with sewing machines, material, batting, ribbon and all the things that would take to make 40+ Walker Bags (pictured below-these are used by those who walkers to put all their goodies in). These will be given to our local veterans home, nursing homes....wherever the need is. 


We did brown bag lunch and three of the ladies brought sweets to share. Of course, there is always a pot of fresh coffee. It is a wonderful working group....some sewed...some pressed....some cut and then there were those who took kits home. Some chose to cut and make them at home on their own. Our goal was 50 which will be met easily.
