Tacoma Lakes Quilters met on April 3, 2024, just ahead of the N'or Easter! As always, Show & Tell is full of fantastic quilts, highlighting the tremendous talent in this chapter of PTQG.
This is Ann with her "The Lady" quilt,
a pattern from Villa Rosa Designs

She quilted it herself, and it will be presented to
the "Bridges to Blessings"
representative when she visits soon.

After the business meeting, Meliss gave us a demonstration
on how to make a quilt from fat quarters!
It was very well thought out and easy to follow!
Here, she shows where each cut of the fat quarter is put into the quilt.
Instructions on brown paper
quick reference for cutting
very clever!
Pieced blocks for the quilt

This is the pattern book she used for her demo
This is the "flip side" of her quilt.
It was a great demo Meliss
Thank you!
And that wraps up another meeting of Tacoma Lakes Quilters! Our next meeting is scheduled for April 17th—a potluck and a workshop with Kathy B and Ann W on using "Sew Kind of Wonderful" rulers.
Until then . . . . Happy Quilting!!
