Barb started our Show and Tell with "Candy Corn Table Topper" from Quilters Digest. Still available from Quilters Digest, although no longer free. So cute for Halloween! Hmm I wonder if you could make that candy corn into pie...or maybe pizza!
Ann W brought her gorgeous "Bargello Hearts" by Nancy Podolsky. Ann made this quilt for a customer. Such sweet soft colors, very pretty. Ann said using a line of fabrics makes fabric selection easy.
Sharon W frequently has something for Show and Tell. She is a prolific quilter with her own quilting machine. This quilt is made with half square triangles.
Jean P brought in this Autumn inspired table runner. "Scrappy Fun Table Runner" pattern from Quilter's World by Bev Getschel. Can you figure out how it goes together?
Long time friend of Sherry, Joyce joined Tacoma today. Don't you love it when a brand new member brings in something for Show and Tell? Joyce and Sherry have been friends since they were 14 years old. They didn't say how long ago that was. (wink) This baby quilt is made from a panel for Joyce's 9th grandchild. I am sure baby will love it.
Meliss learned Big Stitch quilting on this log cabin quilt and said she really liked it. Love the fall colors that seem to dominate this months Show and Tell. A very cozy log cabin, Meliss.
Donna M wanted us to see the quilting that Kathy B chose for Donna's Gelato Bargello quilt from The Quilter's Clinic. Keeping with the fishy theme, Kathy quilted lots of seaweed into this beautiful quilt.
That's it for this month! I'm sure we will have more quilty goodness after our October retreat.
