THE WINNER IS BETTY L. (BJ) . This is a wonderful story of our quilt that was  made by Koleen Painchaud, who lost her battle with cancer. Tickets were sold throughout the year and ticket was drawn at our Quilt show in 2018. The winner was Robert Simard. He chose to donate it back to our chapter. What to do with it was the question???? It was decided to take chances of $10 a ticket and the winner would be drawn by Ellie, his wife, at the January meeting. Of course we all waited and hoped it would be ours, but the winning ticket was Betty, our secretary; and the tears flowed as she received it. Another wonderful part is that $760.00 was raised and will be donated to our Cancer Center in Augusta to help those in need with gas money, meals, etc., as they see fit.
Lots of smiles ...we are a blessed chapter! Congratulations Betty!!!!

 Until next time..............
