The Tacoma Quilters arrived excited and they were full of chatter and laughter from beginning to end except for the gavel that call us to order for business. Thirty of us visiting with one another and sharing the latest. Each business meeting we have "How do you do that?" Pres. Barbara led us through steps to fold fabric using the following book 'Fantastic Fabric Folding" by
Rebecca Wat.


A really fun project that can be used several ways.
Following are two quilts that we done for a local shelter. Several others were made, quilted and donated by members.


Bea did this delightful
child's quilt. The black and white are dog bones.

Helen made these 10 minute table runners and a wonderful bag made from fairy fabric.

Of course Janice brought a chuckle to us with her armful of projects.

She did these wonderful block of the month from Cotton Weeds Quilt Shop in
Freeport.
There are twelve
embroidered squares. So dainty!!

Titled 'Pick up Sticks' This was made for Andrea by her sister as a surprise.
Her plan was to make a dot quilt. Her sister was secretly
collecting and preparing to do this for her. How special is this!!

Each month we have a raffle as a fund raiser for our group. Sandy donated these wonderful canned goods.....pickles...beets...pumpkin butter.....jam.....tomatoes and old tea towels that are beautiful in a lovely basket. Margo was the surprised winner
