Tacoma - November 4, 2015

Tacoma Quilters of Litchfield held their second meeting in our new home, Morning Star Lodge (you can find info on the side bar). This was our monthly business meeting that was full of information for the coming months. Each month is a BLOCK DRAWING with a theme and a winner chosen. The FAT QUARTER CLUB (members exchange) We reviewed our very successful AUCTION discussing how to improve it for 2017 One of our CHARITY PROJECTS will be making incubator quilts for NICU at our next meeting. We also will be making a CHARITY QUILT for the lodge to raffle in 30's material. We will be having a 'QUESTION CAN' entitled "What would you like to know." Sometimes you just do not want to ask that 'dumb question' because you think everyone else may know the answer and you do not. We have all levels of quilters and many times we talk right over their heads and they do not have a clue what we are saying. We also received instructions for our CHAPTER CHALLENGE called 'Full Deck of Cards' and you will be hearing more about that in the months ahead. Each month we collect monies for 'Food for Thought' in Gardiner and the 'Food Bank' in Litchfield.

As you can see we are a busy group and enjoy one another and all the fun things we do. Christmas is just around the corner and that is already in the planning stages.

We also saw a couple of completed quilts using this method.
Until next time....enjoy! If you would like to join a morning group. We invite you to come and check us out. Everyone is welcome!
