Spring time and the livin' is muddy...

 Ahhh, spring in Maine! Chilly and breezy in my part of the great State of Maine but the crocus and snowdrops are blooming. It is a good thing we have our quilt meetings to look forward to. 

Carol made a lovely crazy quilt style quilt. She has transferred photos of her mother and recorded happy memories of her in this quilt. Carol added hand embroidery. A family heirloom. 

Leanne held a workshop at our last meeting. She learned this technique, called Interleave, at Maine Quilts 2005. Leanne took a class from Heather Kojan to learn this popular technique.
