Our chapter challenge for 2025-2026 is themed "Quilting Through the Seasons", which is also the theme for Maine Quilts 2026. We hope to enter these quilts into the show as a challenge group.
Guidelines:
-- Make a quilt, 6" wide by 60" long, representing the season you drew at the October 1 meeting. You may make whatever blocks you wish: but if you choose to break out of the "block" mold, use your creativity to come up with a different arrangement for a 6" x 60" vertical wall hanging.
-- If you drew #1, your season is Spring, #2 is Fall, #3 is Summer, and #4 is Winter.
-- Quilts will be revealed at the summer picnic, which is the second meeting in June. We must, however, have a firm commitment by May 15 so the group can be registered in time for Maine Quilts 2026. If you do not wish to enter your quilt for the show, please let Anne T or SueRap know before that date.
