April 2 Show and Tell

Barb completed her Iceberg quilt. She used all solids from a Kona jelly roll.

At our last meeting Donna M. conducted a workshop using the Waverunner pattern from Cut Loose Press. Donna W. got busy and made her lovely version at home.

Hope showed us her "Flower Patches" quilt. Former Tacoma member Anne T. helped Hope put this pretty quilt together.  Long-armer Dee Roper did the quilting.

Hope also showed us an acrylic painting that she painted. Someone suggested that she could paint a block for a quilt, too. Why not combine two things she likes to do?

Leanne T. said her Cathedral Windows table topper is made from charm squares. No hand sewing!

Remember this quilt top? Barbara D. brought this Christmas quilt top into a meeting last year. She said she did not want to complete it; it had been sitting in her stash for too long and she wanted to get rid of it pass it along to someone else. Well, our prolific quilter Leanne T. took her up on the challenge and produced this pretty quilt.

Leanne finished this  stunning quilt, previously shown on our blog. The photo really doesn't do it justice. The gold really sparkles and glows. Great job, Leanne! The pattern is Ombre Blossoms by Krista Moser. Helen Gardeau machine quilted it.

We had two visitors today! Wendy R. and Karen M. came to see our chapter. Welcome Ladies!

Karen M. brought us a quilt for our Show and Tell. Karen made the center block; the top and bottom blocks were from her aunt's stash. A winning combination.
