Tacoma - June 15, 2016

Tacoma Quilters of Litchfield held their last meeting of 2015-16. Our theme for today was 'VEGAS NIGHT'. We celebrated with bridal veils, strip poker (fabric 2 1/2") ...Our challenge quilts "Playing with a full deck of cards".  We are sharing a few of the highlights. It was a fun time for all.

sashings and strings. These are out of her box but she is very
good at what she does and fun to see her creations.

Tacoma - June 1, 2016

Tacoma Quilters of Litchfield met on this wonderful summer day. It is amazing how fast the year has gone as we wind down business as usual. It was a great meeting with lots of discussions. A demo was given by Barb D called 'double sided binding'. Show ' Tell is always popular. We have some very talented women. Enjoy!!

Tacoma Quilters of Litchfield had Wendy Ulmer of Wooly lamb who shared her trunk show. .. simple but unique.

Tacoma - May 4, 2016

Tacoma Lakes met Wednesday for our Monthly Business Meeting. The gals who are responsible for the coffee and goodies always do a great job. From setting up, cooking and cleaning up. They are so appreciated and we say a big "THANK YOU."

We are selling raffle tickets for our quilt pictured at the top. The drawing will take place at our quilt show in October 15-16. I will post another  picture at the end of this blog.

Discussed: Fat quarter club, Food for thought, block drawing, charity quilts, quilt show, mini raffle draw, question box and charity block challenge. Kathy B followed with a demo 'WORKING WITH SELVAGES - LIVING ON THE EDGE ' as she calls it. And of course we had 'Show 'n Tell' ...this is always a highlight to see the display of talent. AMAZING!!!
