Lots of sharing today...on with the show!

Here I am with my pillow. I used mini charm squares alternating with white squares to make my pillow top. I transferred images from Kathy Schmitz book "Tiny Treasures". I embroidered the images with simple stitches. Very easy to make!

Anne T. showed us a number of items she made, including this top!
Anne was inspired by the walkways at the Botanical Garden in Boothbay.

Jean's "Row by Row" challenge quilt. Delightful!
Amish Baby Blocks
Crochet edge makes a fancy mat from a simple quilt block.
Woven table runner from Aunties Two Patterns/ Criss Cross Woven Fabric Mats.
A pretty bag from Cut Loose Press, Box Bottom and Bows Tote. I assume these were made over the summer, not since our last meeting! Nice work, Jean!
Kim made "Splendor" a free pattern from Sew Can She. This is a 3 yard quilt.
Kim also made this beautiful quilt that was inspired by her property in New Hampshire. The free pattern is called Wilderness from AGF Studio. Fantastic, Kim!
Awww, kitties! Sue K. made this cuddly quilt for Project Linus.
Leanne has been busy this summer, too. Here is "Meowy Christmas" on a tea towel.
From Falcon Embroidery, Butterfly Lion on an apron.
Halloween Hanger is free standing lace,  from Sweet Pea Embroidery.
Leanne says this is a Christmas Bokeh Runner also from Sweet Pea Embroidery.
Diane made this quilt for a friend. It was inspired by an Emily Dickinson Poem titled "There is no frigate like a book".

Diane needed a pocket for her phone. Inspired by similar pockets from long ago because there were no pockets in women's clothing. We are still complaining about that, aren't we? Diane came up with a beautiful solution.
Linda made this 9 patch quilt for a baby boy.

Last for today is Sherry's quilt made from many different quilt blocks. The blocks were chosen from a block tool book. Such lovely variety!

Welcome Friends

Lots of quilts for Show and Tell at our September meeting.

Barbara finished making "P.S.I Love You" recently. It was a project at Tacoma some time ago.

Barbara with her candy corn. Just in time for the fall season.

This "Iceberg" quilt was our charity quilt pattern for the past year.
Kathy told us a charming story about making her grandson's baby quilt. He's off to college now and wanted to bring along some comfort from home. This is the baby quilt adapted to fit a sweatshirt. Pretty amazing!

Meliss was inspired by Janet's Amish inspired quilts. Beautiful!
Leanne made this kitty piece with SweetPea Embroidery In the Hoop Designs.

Diane was inspired to make a comic book inspired quilt with a poem stitched on the blocks, too.
Jean's tablerunner is called "Blueberries". Perfect!

And she  followed Bonnie Hunter's Leader and Ender quilt instructions for this scrappy quilt, Black, White, and Bright." The quilt on the right is from Bonnie Hunter's Potato Chip block instructions.

Kathy made her red quilt and her blue quilt using her favorite scrappy blocks.

Donna made a beautiful basket in her favorite colors, pattern is Camden Bowls by Aunties Two. The Stained Glass Panel Quilt fabric and pattern came from Shabby Fabrics and is great for panels.

Ramona's granddaughter picked out this unicorn panels and designed the border

Sadly, Ramona's dog dies this summer but Ramona memorialized his life with this quilt using blocks from King's Treasures of Lisbon.

We are still collecting quilts for charity. Betty finished her green "Iceberg" this summer.
Sherry made her beautiful red quilt using a Crabapple Hill design. The pattern is "Sleighbells".
Leanne monitored a class by Heather Kojan at Maine Quilts and was so inspired she went home and made this "Interleave" pattern that Heather had been teaching. There was quite a bit of interest in learning this technique among our Tacoma members.

My little wallhanging uses rubber stamps and Inktense sticks to create this ode to summer. Very fun to make and I hope to demonstrate at a later date.
