The last waltz

I brought in a quilt that I made using fabric from a silent auction. There were yards and yards of coordinating fabrics in this lovely soft blue and yellow. I plan to make more quilts from these beauties!

Betsy with her version of our charity quilt "Iceberg" by Villa Rosa. Very warm and sunny.

Donna M brought us her dress, bag, and quilt made in her favorite colors. The bag is from Cut Loose Press Gift Bag designed by Chris Foreman. Her quilt is from Blue Onion-Saginaw St Quilts Co. Doesn't this just make you smile?

Jean is another of our frequent contributors to Show and Tell. Here she has her version of "Juxtaposition" by AMy Walsh of Blue Underground Studios.

Janet is having a show at the Merrymeeting Art Gallery, Bowdoinham in August. These quilts and others will be in the show, I'm sure. These are inspired by Amish quilts.

Meliss brought in this Double Wedding Ring table runner/bed runner previously and here it is all quilted and bound. It doesn't hurt to see a quilt under construction and then complete. We love seeing them all.

Meliss, like Janet, has been playing with Amish-inspired quilts. She referred to Roberta Horton's book "An Amish Adventure" for this one.

Sharon says her quilt is a Judy Niemeyer paper pieced design.

Meliss with another Amish inspired small quilt.

Leanne had made a shadow box inspired by Taylor Swift. She found the images in a coloring book. Leanne will donate this to the Hubbard Free Library in Hallowell for a fund raiser. Swifties take note! So fun.

That's the last of Show and Tell for our calendar year. See you in September!
