Tacoma June 18 Meeting

Tacoma quilters of Litchfield met for our last regular meeting on Wednesday and as always there were lots of snacks and lots of chatter. Looking back over the past months we have accomplished a lot and now we look forward to new projects, new challenges. Our summer picnic in July is always a highlight where we have a smorgasbord, relax, swim/hot tub or just sit and chat.

We are now preparing for our quilt show October 25-26 to be held in Litchfield. You will be hearing much more in a few weeks on this blog and around town as we look forward to this new venture for our chapter. Our theme will be 'Making New Friends'. We will have 'New Friends Cafe' a place where you can buy a lunch. Also, Friendship Lane where you can take chances and win some wonderful items. Can't you feel the excitement already?

We welcome our new slate of officers in September. President: Barb, Co-Vice Presidents: Ann W. and Kathy B., Secretary: Ann T, Treasurer: Koleen.

all that she has made. She always has something
in her hand that she is working on.
Excellent piecing and hand applique plus many patterns she
has designed. She is an inspiration to many of us. Always ooh's and aah's.
This is another beauty.
Please check in to see what we are doing throughout the summer. We will be putting more info on about the quilt show. MARK YOUR CALENDARS! REMIND YOUR FRIENDS!

Tacoma Meeting - JUNE 4

Tacoma Quilters met for their monthly business meeting. It was a full agenda and much was accomplished. Our fat quarter club was very popular and has ended for the year. We had a lot of discussion about our upcoming Quilt show in October. Suanne is coordinating the show and it takes lots of hands to make it successful. Barb modeled the lovely apron she designed and that is personalized with logo/our name. They will be worn at our quilt show and other Tacoma events. We all agreed it was very nice and we each chose our color thread for the logo. Our new officers were chosen for 2014-15 year. Our support for the local food bank and backpack program continues to be popular. Our Bring and brag always has beautiful work.
