Workshop - Pockets to Go!

Tacoma Lake Quilters met Wednesday for an all day workshop. The Project taught by Pres. Barb was 'Pockets to go". It was very popular and here are a few pictures to give you the flavor of the day. The gals chose a variety of beautiful fabrics to make these. Many will be used as gifts for Christmas etc. Below are some of the gals. I am not sure how many participated. I did not get all of their pictures. Also some of them were blurry. We now have 32 members so I am not sure of all of the names. So decided to leave them off.

These are the little 'POCKETS TO GO'

Each of these gals are in different parts of the process. I am sure we will have some of the finished projects next time we meet.

Tacoma Meeting Nov 2

The Tacoma Quilters arrived excited and they were full of chatter and laughter from beginning to end except for the gavel that call us to order for business. Thirty of us visiting with one another and sharing the latest. Each business meeting we have "How do you do that?" Pres. Barbara led us through steps to fold fabric using the following book 'Fantastic Fabric Folding" by Rebecca Wat.

A really fun project that can be used several ways.

Following are two quilts that we done for a local shelter. Several others were made, quilted and donated by members.
